How to Use This Template

What an Australian Tax Invoice Must Include

The ATO requires the following on every tax invoice:

  • The words "Tax Invoice" clearly displayed
  • Your ABN (Australian Business Number)
  • The date the invoice was issued
  • A description of the goods or services supplied
  • The GST amount for each line item, or a statement that the total price includes GST
  • The total price including GST
