Quote vs Invoice — What's the Difference?
A quote (or quotation) is a document you send to a potential customer before the job starts. It sets out the estimated cost of the work. Once accepted, it becomes a binding agreement. A quote is not a request for payment.
An invoice is a document you send after the work is completed. It is a formal request for payment and creates a legal obligation for the customer to pay. Invoices are used for accounting and tax purposes.
With the Drainly app, you can send a quote on-site and convert it to an invoice in one tap when the job is done — no re-typing required.
